Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and adhering to safety standards. The Journeyperson Carpenter will collaborate with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of construction projects.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Renovating existing structures Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment would be an asset but not mandatory Experience with Arial lifts, platforms, and scaffolding would be beneficial. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project specifications. Conduct construction estimating to assess material needs and project timelines. Collaborate with electrical teams when necessary to ensure proper installation of fixtures. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations.

Skills

Proficient in carpentry techniques with a solid understanding of construction principles. Familiarity with various power tools used in carpentry work. Ability to perform electrical tasks related to carpentry installations is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
