Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced

Journeyman Electrician

to join our team full-time. This role will involve a mix of service calls, troubleshooting, maintenance, and new construction/renovation projects. The ideal candidate is a skilled tradesperson with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and accurately. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical code specifications. Install and service electrical panels, wiring, lighting, fire alarm systems, and other electrical components. Ensure all work meets current Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and safety standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members. Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices when required.

Qualifications:

Valid Red Seal Journeyman Electrician. Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code. Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
