Pro West Electrical is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician who is ready to take the next step in their career--someone who is not only experienced in the field but also eager to grow into a leadership and operational role within our team.

About This Role

You'll split your time between hands-on fieldwork and office responsibilities, taking on increasing leadership duties while mentoring the next generation of electricians.

What We're Looking For:

Experience & Technical Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician Extensive knowledge of both residential and commercial electrical systems, with the ability to plan, troubleshoot, and execute jobs confidently Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code and a proven track record of passing inspections A commitment to clean, high-quality workmanship, especially in residential environments where attention to detail matters most

Leadership & People Skills:

A people-first attitude--someone who works well with others and values collaboration Natural leadership skills with a desire to mentor and inspire apprentices, helping them grow into exceptional electricians Excellent communication skills--able to explain technical issues clearly to both team members and clients

Business & Technology:

Comfortable with technology and basic computer skills (e.g., using job management software, writing quotes, emails, and documentation) A sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify client needs, present solutions, and help close jobs with confidence A desire to split time between field and office--you'll be expected to perform installations, conduct site visits, plan and quote jobs, and oversee project execution
