Position Summary

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our Electrical team. This role plays a critical part in providing technical expertise, ensuring quality installations, and supporting the growth and mentorship of apprentices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial electrical work, an understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert technical assistance and recommendations for operations, electrical design improvements, and system installations across HVAC manufacturing projects. Perform installation, replacement, repair, and testing of electrical circuits, controls, panel boxes, and wiring systems, ensuring alignment with HVAC system requirements. Interpret and apply the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) to ensure all electrical work complies with current safety and regulatory standards. Execute precision cutting, threading, bending, and assembly of conduit systems for various electrical applications. Conduct quality installations per electrical and HVAC system design specifications, upholding best practices and internal standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues, isolate faults, and carry out timely and accurate repairs to minimize downtime in production or field operations. Efficiently manage manpower, tools, and materials to optimize workflow and support project timelines. Complete all required quality control documentation, installation reports, and compliance records in a timely and accurate manner. Respond to emergency service calls and site issues as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions-focused mindset. Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by supervisors to support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications

Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification required Minimum 5 years of electrical experience in Alberta (HVAC experience preferred) Strong understanding of electrical prints, diagrams, and schematics Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work under pressure Flexibility to work overtime when required Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract (Passport required; application fee covered) Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment for service projects Willingness to mentor and collaborate with others in a team setting

Hours of Work - Averaging Hour Arrangement

Monday - Thursday - 6 am - 3:30 pm Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm Overtime after 9 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week Flexibility to work Overtime
