Opportunity:

Journeyman Electrician

Scope of Work:

Renovation to plant site buildings, expected to last 3-4 months

Schedule:

10 days on / 4 days off 12 hour days

Must be available to start October 27

Accommodations:

Camp accommodations available.

Travel:

Flights are available from Edmonton or Calgary

Report to:

Site Foreman

Responsibilities

Set up and install new electrical systems Inspect and diagnose electrical systems Repair and/or replace faulty electrical components Assemble and install electrical conductor enclosures and fittings Previous camp installation and demobilization experience Previous modular experience Other duties as required

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician certification A minimum of 3 years related work experience Common Safety Orientation (CSO) Valid Class 5 Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract CSO accredited; Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space & Fall Protection Superior knowledge of Provincial and National Electrical Code Demonstrated safe electrical practices Strong planning, organizing and multi-tasking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings Self-motivated, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
