Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, including, residential, commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, along with hands-on experience in the field. As well as good communications skills as this position will deal with the end user.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment according to CEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Trouble shoot and repair installations. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Conduct renovations involving electrical work while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Skills

Proven experience as an residential and commercial electrician. Team player. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to electrical systems. Familiarity with VFD drives and there set up. Strong knowledge of CEC regulations and safety standards for electrical work. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Ability to perform live work safely and efficiently. Background in construction site experience with a focus on renovation projects. Maintenance experience is a plus.
