Job Overview

We are seeking a independent and proactive Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems, including industrial environments, and possess a strong understanding of both high and low voltage systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and renovating electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.

Flexible hours available - part-time or project-based work is welcome. Rate negotiable depending on experience.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in various settings, including industrial facilities. Renovate existing electrical installations to meet updated codes and standards. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute electrical projects accurately. Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools. Collaborate with other tradespeople when necessary to support overall project completion. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards while performing electrical work.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience for commercial work, maintenance, and installation in the Tsawwassen / Delta area. Must have own transportation. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and their applications. Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
