Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and blueprints, along with the ability to work safely and efficiently on complex projects. The Journeyperson Electrician will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical infrastructure, supporting renovation, construction, and ongoing maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute projects. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently. Work with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components. Assist with renovation projects by upgrading or replacing existing electrical infrastructure. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or upgrades to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes to maintain a safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or certification. Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role involving construction or renovation projects. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Familiarity with low voltage systems and general electrical experience in industrial settings. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately. Maintenance Person experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting and repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
