Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of carpentry and construction, including framing, foundation, and siding. This role requires a professional with comprehensive knowledge of blueprint reading, blueprint schematics, and the use of hand and power tools. The Journeyman Carpenter will be responsible for executing high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and collaborating effectively with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.

Duties

Interpret blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks. Perform foundation, framing, and siding work. Utilize hand tools, and power tools. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and industry standards. Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to ensure project specifications are met.

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools, and power tools Knowledge of concrete forming techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements. Valid experience in custom home construction (1-2 years)

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
