Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, carpentry, and manufacturing, with the ability to produce high-quality custom cabinets and related woodwork. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial spaces, utilizing various tools and techniques to deliver exceptional craftsmanship. Candidates should be comfortable reading schematics and blueprints, working with power tools, hand tools, and performing precise measurements. Prior experience in restoration, installation, or related construction fields is a plus.

Duties



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately produce cabinet components. Cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools. Install cabinets and related fixtures in residential or commercial settings with attention to detail. Perform surface finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, painting, or sealing to meet project specifications. Measure materials precisely to ensure proper fit and alignment during assembly and installation. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met within deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times. Assist with other carpentry or woodworking projects as needed, including flooring installation or siding work.

Requirements



Proven experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or carpentry; experience in restoration or concrete forming is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (such as CNC machines), and measuring instruments. Knowledge of construction estimating, rebar installation, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical work, or maintenance person experience is advantageous. Strong understanding of materials such as wood, rebar, concrete, tile, and siding products. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working on ladders or scaffolding when necessary. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Experience on Omnitech Anderson CNC's considered an large asset
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
