Qualifications
Experience in journalism, communications, or professional writing (portfolio required).
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field is an asset but not required if relevant experience can be shown.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple assignments.
Solid understanding of journalistic ethics and principles.
Proficiency in digital tools and technologies related to journalism (e.g., CMS, social media, multimedia storytelling).
Familiarity with Sarnia-Lambton news and issues is a strong asset.
A passion for local news and community issues.
