General description : As a Retread Technician, you will perform commercial tire retreading tasks involving a series of manual and automated processes. You will also become familiar with safety and quality principles, and you will learn how to be successful within a team. • Training in all facets of retread manufacturing: inspection and polishing of tire casings, application of tire compounds, processing and quality control
• Follow processes to ensure tire retread completion
• Comply with all safety and liability guidelines and policies, including the use of safety equipment to ensure your safe use of machinery
• Any other service required by management
• Perform various manual tasks for prolonged periods of time, such as lifting heavy or light loads, including commercial wheels and tires, standing, bending, or squatting

Basic requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Be 18 years or older
• Be authorized to work legally in Canada without company sponsorship, now and in the future
• Must be able to meet all pre-employment criteria
• Ability to work any or rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime as required
• Basic computer skills

Required skills:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Ability to understand, speak and read English
