Lake Country Plumbing & Gas Ltd. is looking for an experienced Journeyman/woman Plumber/Gasfitter to join our service department. This is a permanent position and we aim to keep our employees busy (40 hours per week) year-round.

Lake Country Plumbing & Gas Ltd. is a locally owned and operated Plumbing & Gas company that has been in business since 2017. We serve the plumbing, heating, and gas needs of residents throughout Lake Country, Vernon, and Kelowna including service, renovations, and new builds. With over 15 yeas of general contracting and plumbing experience, we aim to provide quality, professional service and reliable repairs/replacements in a timely manner.

Your skills/experience:

The ideal candidate can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, loves being part of a team culture, and is driven to deliver quality service to customers. This position is best suited to someone who has a thorough understanding of plumbing code, gas code, and proper piping practices.

Your core duties will include:

Perform a wide range of plumbing service work from minor fixes to complicated issues

Troubleshoot, diagnose, install, repair, and maintain plumbing equipment and systems

Install and maintain gas lines and related gas work

Install and repair a wide range of water heaters (gas, electric and tankless)

List and order proper materials and/or equipment

Install a wide range of plumbing faucets and fixtures

Handle the physical requirements of the job: heavy lifting, climbing ladders, working in crawlspaces

Provide exceptional customer service, explaining the issues diagnosed and the path to fixing them

Work closely and respectfully with colleagues

Complete required paperwork in a legible and timely manner

Requirements:

Current Driver's License (driver's abstract required)

Red Seal Certification - Plumbing

B-Gas Ticket
