Job Summary:

Cober is looking to fill a full-time permanent position under the direction of the Signage Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the preparation, labelling, and inventory of all products shipped from the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Printing Operator in setting up print jobs on machines. Assist in transferring printed images to products. Create wooden frames according to specified measurements for canvasses. Stretch canvasses onto frames using the tools necessary for the task. Install hardware such as hangers on product prior to shipping. Inspect the product and final package for any damage or quality issues. Wrap products in shrink wrap upon completion. Stock finished product onto skids or in bins. Compile monthly inventory report for Signage Manager. Clean and maintain a safe and tidy working environment. Comply with all occupational health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

:

Secondary School Diploma or equivalent and previous experience in a wide format/print role is considered an asset. Ability to read English and follow shipping requirements from start to finish. Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Reliability and dependability. Multitasker, able to work on numerous tasks throughout their shift. Able to work independently and as a member of a team. Flexibility in scheduling is considered an asset. Ability to work reasonable overtime hours when required to meet customer demands. A moderate amount of physical effort will be required to perform the duties of the job. In a typical day, the incumbent will be expected to stand and walk for up to 7 hours or more and lift, carry, and stack up to 30lbs regularly.
