Nature and Scope
As the leader in the department, this position is accountable for leading SIIT JobConnections to support the overall goals of the department. As an employee of SIIT, positively promote and create an environment that demonstrates SIIT's vision, mission and mandate.
General Accountability
The JobConnections Manager is required to manage the day-to-day operations of JobConnections. This position will ensure that the work carried out aligns with the goals of SIIT to provide service to clients that will lead to employment and training. The incumbent is accountable to lead, train and maximize the team's effectiveness and performance to ensure the highest quality of services and timeliness of deliverables, in addition to guiding their daily work.
The JobConnections Manager is responsible for ensuring that the services offered and developed by the department meet the needs of the area they serve, as well as, ensure that the goals are achieved as per partnerships and agreements. The Manager is responsible for coordinating with outside agencies to build and maintain the highest professional rapport with stakeholders and funders.
