Job Title: Workshop Assistant - Jewelry Studio

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible

Workshop Assistant

to support us with various day-to-day operations in our jewelry studio located in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment, engaging with customers, and contributing to a growing local business.

Responsibilities:

Assist with customer service in-store and on the phone. Willing and ready to learn how to work with jewelry-related CNC machine (training will be provided). Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Help with inventory management and order processing. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions and receipts. Support packaging and shipping of online orders. Assist with photographing products and posting on social media. Perform various errands and general workshop duties as required.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities. Good mathematical skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of social media platforms. (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) Basic understanding of POS systems and retail operations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Sales and persuasive skills are an asset. Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks.
