We require multiple Java developers with experience in application vulnerability issues and Websphere middleware. This is for a client in the public sector. Please contact us urgently if you are qualified.
You will be required to develop and implement a series of technology upgrades/migrations to address existing solution vulnerabilities and to take preventative measures for the Payment Summary Control System and Enrollment and Consent Management / Claims Data Entry applications.
Requirements

• Experience migrating from WebSphere Application Server (WAS) to Open Liberty or Liberty, and upgrading applications from Java 8 to Java 9+

• Experience patching WAS, troubleshooting compatibility and other issues.

• 10+ years demonstrated knowledge and experience of IT systems development in multi-platform environments (web, desktop, mobile, mainframe, micro/mini systems, etc.)

• Experience with multi-tiered open-standard technologies such as JSP/Servlet, JSF, JEE, EJB, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, XML, JSON, REST and SOAP-based Web Services

• Experience with Strut Framework, Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, Open Liberty, Liberty, WebLogic, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, .NET, VPN, PKI, LDAP, Oracle RDBMS (versions 19C+), PL/SQL, development and deployment tools (e.g. source codes and application packages management), GIT Hub, Jenkins, DevOps, Cloud technologies (containerization, hosting, deployment, networking).
