Job Summary

You are an experienced JDE Programmer looking for an opportunity apply your skills within a leading-edge JD Edwards environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise business solutions, managing the development of new business systems, along with the ongoing refinement of existing solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test, debug JDE objects, reports, business functions, business services, versions, business views
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts in order to translate business objectives into systems requirements
• Design and document specifications for system changes
• Provide analysis of both System Design and Database Design
• Design specifications to meet user needs within Ledcor IT infrastructure limitations
• Develop applications and databases in accordance with internal policies and procedures
• Manage software implementations, patches and upgrades
• Actively participate in the improvement of Information Services processes, policies, and procedures

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of JD Edwards E1 programming experience
• Post-secondary education in Computer Technology or related field preferred
• JavaScript programming experience would be an asset
• Systems analysis and design skills for the design, development and testing of JD Edwards applications, reports, extended applications, business services, and APIs
• Understanding of relational database concepts and database SQL statements
• In-depth knowledge of key JDE Tools, including OMW, FDA, RDA, TDA, BSFN, BSSV, Workflow Builder
• Familiarity with Cloud architected solutions, such as Oracle and Azure
• Understanding of business processes and models, including best practices, regulatory requirements, back office processes, and end-to-end workflows across all operational areas
• Expert knowledge of information system design, with the ability to direct a number of complex projects to their successful completion
• Proven ability to apply control and data management disciplines and techniques gained through seasoned practical experience
• Creative, self-starting, results-oriented and highly motivated
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply knowledge to independently resolve complex business and technical problems within a tight timeframe
• Thorough knowledge of business analysis, change management, and project management to identify gaps and risks, and define requirements
