COMPENSATION: Wage $25.00/hr

Summary of Position
The Summer Literacy Coordinator will be expected to deliver a diverse array of outdoor literacy activities. The Coordinator must be prepared to demonstrate initiative and creativity. We are seeking a committed and self-motivated person to engage children and families in literacy activities.
This is a temporary position, commencing July 4th to 31th and August 1th to 11th, 2023. The successful candidate will work 3 days (20 hours per week).
Duties/Responsibility and Expectations:

• Plan and organize literacy activities for a variety of age groups
• Collaborate with outside agencies to plan a program of activities to engage children/families
• Deliver resources and programming to children/families
• Maintain accurate records as required
• Manage a small budget including all financial records.
• Ensure adherence to all program directives and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Living Sky School Division.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract with access to a reliable vehicle is required
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
