Will also be responsible for leading the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems on modernized Enterprise Integration Platforms. The role works on complex issues involving one or more technical areas, mentoring employees and performing tasks of advanced technical depth and breadth. The Java Developer will be involved in wide ranging strategic initiatives, collaborating with developers, architects and infrastructure specialists across the enterprise. Will need to gather requirements and conduct research to evaluate the application of new and emerging tools and techniques, identifying patterns and best practices to consider in technology proposals. The role devises new methods and procedures using strong analytic and inductive thinking, developing project plans based on appropriate standards and methodology.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. • Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Develop the application using Java based Object Oriented Development practices.
• Leadership skills - Act as team lead on Enterprise Integration Projects.

• You can demonstrate experience in: Java, Object Oriented Design, Springboot, Github, Jenkins. It\xe2\x80\x99s an asset if you are fluent in JSON and RESTFul web services, Docker.
• Its an asset if you have experience with Go and gRPC.
