Role :: Java Developer - Spring Framework & ETL Specialist ::Location: Montreal, Canada :: Onsite (local Only)
8+ Years Experience -\xc2\xb7 Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based software applications using the Java Spring and Spring Batch frameworks\xc2\xb7 Utilize Spring framework to build scalable and high-performance applications\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading into databases\xc2\xb7 Model and design databases to support software applications, ensuring data integrity and security\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, and quality assurance specialists, to deliver software solutions that meet project requirements and deadlines\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot and debug software issues and provide technical support to clients\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field\xc2\xb7 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and Spring\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of database design principles and experience working with databases such as DB2, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL\xc2\xb7 Experience on using splunk or other logging platforms\xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience with Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to work effectively in a team environment\xc2\xb7 Desired Skills-Agile experience (SCRUM, Kanban)\xc2\xb7 Continuous integration (Maven, Gradle, Artifactory)\xc2\xb7 Exposure to Azure and cloud-based application development\xc2\xb7 Test automation (Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor)\xc2\xb7 Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) experience
