Take your ambitions to the next level Here is an overview of the tasks and challenges you will take on as a Java Developer (Pilot/Technical Referent).
As a Java Developer (Pilot/Technical Referent), you will be part of the Solutions Department and will be immersed in an Agile team composed of Product Owners, Testers, Developers, a Scrum Master and a Subject Matter Expert.

You will implement user stories using the object and functional paradigms, but most importantly, you will learn how to use the right tool to meet each need. Your finished definition will be a fully tested quality code. You will take the time to train and establish your proofs of concept (POC) to guide your technical choices and the internal tools to use.

As part of its cultural transformation towards software craftsmanship, our client is looking for software craftsmen who fit into its strategy:

• Functionally-driven agility;
• Executable specifications;
• Domain-driven design;
• Test-driven development (TDD);
• Clean Code;
• Microservices architecture;
• DevSecOps approach (development, security, operations) and infrastructure as code;
• Automation of all processes.

Finally, beyond the skills of the job, it is above all your human skills that will make all the difference. We recruit people with a solid experience in the Java EE ecosystem, but who are above all passionate!

• Coach and train team members to clarify their vision, and support them during delivery using the Agile methodology;
• Implement user stories using object and functional paradigms;
• Establish proofs of concept to guide technical and internal tool choices;
• Know how to detect and use the right tool to meet each need;
• Ensure code quality according to the principles of Clean Code and Agile methodology;
• Program, execute, perform and maintain different types of tests, and participate in their automation;
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of the code and the diffusion of knowledge within the team.

Does this sound like you?

• More than five years of experience in development in the Java back-end ecosystems (Java EE, JUnit, Spring, REST web services), with Angular, HTML5, CSS3 technologies and with databases, such as Hibernate and HQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Elasticsearch;
• Experience with Kotlin or Scala languages (a major asset);
• Knowledge of production ecosystems such as Tomcat, Docker and microservices (asset);
• Interest in methodologies and software know-how orientation;
• Sense of curiosity, and interest in learning, continuous improvement and innovation;
• Communication with teams in French. Level expected:

• English: 2/4
