About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be working with technologies like Linked-Data, Kubernetes and Kafka and writing code in Java.
Responsibilities
Working primarily in Java or Python.
Contributing code to new and existing projects, debug, take part in code reviews.
Working with large data sets to harvest and process data through our internal systems, fueling core Elsevier products.
Requirements
Have proficiency with data manipulation languages.
Have ability to work with data models.
Experience in in development languages including but not limited to: Java, Spring Boot, XML, SQL, and UNIX.
Have basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Have ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
Bilingual - Ability to communicate professionally in both English and French.
