Mariner Innovations is seeking a motivated and talented Java Developer with 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Java Development. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for client-based projects and, in collaboration with our delivery and sales teams, you will deliver best of breed solutions to new and existing customers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about programming, eager to learn, and has a strong foundation in Java development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs.
• Development of new features and integrations for a variety of internal and external business platforms.
• Responsible for technical documentation with an increasing focus on functional documentation.
• Identifies issues and risks.
• Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to understand project requirements, specifications, and technical designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new Java features, and emerging technologies to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Java Development, J2EE.
• Experience with Springboot.
• Experience in Cloud Development.
• Experience with JSP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and REST API.
• Experience as a developer on Kubernetes/Openshift Container platform.
• Source control: Git, SVN.
• Experience with SQL, MySQL.
• Experience in Unit testing, Performance benchmarking, Performance testing
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Considered an asset:

• Agile delivery \xe2\x80\x93 experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Prior experience with internships, personal projects, or coursework related to Java development is a plus.
• Previous experience in a consulting/professional services role
