Oishinoya is hiring Japanese Kitchen Team Members! In this role, you'll help prepare and assemble Japanese-inspired dishes, maintain food safety standards, and support smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced food hall environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble Japanese menu items such as donburi and sides
Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety in all kitchen and prep areas
Support inventory management, restocking, and daily prep work
Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and timely service
Assist with seasonal or new menu launches under the guidance of the kitchen lead
What we're looking for:
Experience in a Japanese restaurant setting preferred
Knowledge of Japanese cuisine or strong willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset
