Kwanlin D\xc3\xbcn First Nation (KDFN) is seeking auxiliary-on-call Janitors to join their team! Reporting to the Manager, Community Buildings & Special Projects, the Janitor is responsible for Reporting to the Manager, Capital Projects, the Janitor provides custodial cleaning services to Dusk\xe2\x80\x99a Early Family Learning Centre, Jackson Lake Healing Camp, Community Services Offices and KDFN owned buildings (e.g. apartments). Qualifications:
- General janitorial experience;
- Experience in providing janitorial cleaning services in a public building;
- Demonstrated ability to complete tasks and assigned duties within the allotted time frame;
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to an administrative facility;
- Following COVID 19 sanitizing standards
- Knowledge of KDFN history, culture, demographics, goals and aspirations.
- Willingness to work variable hours including evenings and possibly weekends to complete jobs with critical deadlines may be required. All overtime must be authorized in advance. An ongoing willingness for janitorial training is required. Demonstrate healthy work-life balance to ensure attendance at work as required. Physical fitness is required. The ability to lift up to 50lbs independently is required.
- Job Requirements: Abide by safety legislation, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), WHIMIS certificate and adhere to KDFN safety policies & procedures at all times
