Job Description

Workforce Inc. is seeking a motivated and physically fit Janitor to perform regular cleaning duties and maintenance in a mine and mill setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the dry and change facilities at the site are maintained at an acceptable level for cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
• Maintenance and ordering of supply inventory for both dry facilities as well as main office facilities
• Clean and sanitize toilet/shower rooms and fixtures including any routine maintenance
• Pick up refuse in other areas as required
• Collection of garbage throughout assigned buildings and dispose of garbage according to set policies and procedures
• Replace tissues, and other restroom supplies.
• Operate basic hand tools such as brooms, shovels, rakes, etc.
• Wash windows and maintain entrance ways
• Perform work in accordance with sound safety practices.
• Must use a variety of hand and power-operated tools and equipment, such as broom, mop, squeegee, shovels, etc.
• Clean and dust offices
• Other related duties

Requirements:

• Must be highly self-motivated and able to follow established procedures and meet standards while working unsupervised
• Motivated worker and able to follow direction when given
• Always maintain safety
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a reliable vehicle
• Ability to organize and communicate with supervisors and managers

Schedule: 5/5/4, 10-hour shifts from 7AM-5PM

Pay Rate: $27.22
