Job Description

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the position of Janitor. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and team player. Key Responsibilities

Clean all areas of the resort, including cafeteria, restaurant, kitchen, administrative offices, washrooms, ticket offices, Pan Abode, and other common areas Ensure all areas are locked when cleaning is completed

Clean floors, windows and washrooms

Remove garbage from all buildings

Assist with checking inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; communicate needs to the Manager

Record hours worked on time sheet and scan in and out for each shift

Follow the shift schedule

Adhere to RCR policies, procedures and Safety Management Program

Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Dependable, self motivated, and able to work with little or no supervision

Previous janitorial experience an asset

Knowledge and experience handling cleaning chemicals safely

Capable of performing minor repairs as needed

Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and lifting

Able to follow instructions provided via manuals, memos, or verbal guidance

Conditions

Work flexible shifts with varying hours

Availability for evenings, weekends and and holidays is required

Compensation and Benefits
