McCain Foods (Canada) is currently seeking a- Janitorial Cleaners to join the team.
Position Summary
Working independently, ensures that all assigned facilities in Florenceville area are kept clean, tidy, safe and presentable. Reports any safety concerns immediately. Reports to Janitorial Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities

• Following daily, weekly, monthly and semi-annual schedules, ensure all office areas and equipment iscleaned, disinfected, and maintained in a safe and respectable manner. This includes emptying trash cans,vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping, washing etc.oReplenish paper tower, toilet paper, soap dispensers and hand sanitizers, as required.oCleaning interior of fridges.oHeavy duty cleaning on a semi annual basis, including interior and some exterior window cleaning,washing walls, etc.oReport any safety concerns; follow up if they are not taken care of in a reasonable period of time.oMaintain and account for an inventory of supplies and order additional supplies as required.oProper storage of all cleaners and hazardous materials.oOther related duties as may be required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum high school education
• Required to obtain WHMIS and TDG certification
• Some experience in cleaning would be an asset.

Skills and Attributes

• Ability to work independently.
• Organized, with ability to maintain inventory, track tasks, etc.
• High standards for cleanliness.
• Ability to read labels, leave notes, keep inventory, etc.
• Excellent discipline and time management skills

Special Requirements

• Subject to a clear criminal background check prior to employment
• Must be bondable

• Crouching, bending, reaching, repetitive movements
• Push, pull, carry
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Loud noise possible due to cleaning machines
• Climbing and cleaning stairs
• Using ladders and other lifting devices for high level cleaning

• Proper PPE is to be worn as requires, including gloves, eye mask, and closed-toe footwear
• Proper knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their use, storage, and mixture
• Proper use of cleaning machines
