Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in commercial facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. The Janitor will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, routine cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of the premises.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, walls, and furniture. Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies. Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to ensure facilities are in good condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
