AMDF Cleaning Services Inc. is hiring dependable and detail-oriented Janitors / Cleaning Technicians to maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards across various commercial and institutional facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste removal. Clean and disinfect washrooms, offices, common areas, and high-touch surfaces. Operate cleaning equipment safely (auto scrubbers, vacuums, floor buffers). Refill supplies such as paper towels, soap, and sanitizer. Follow safety and WHMIS guidelines when using cleaning chemicals. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards promptly. Support recycling and green-cleaning initiatives. Follow site-specific security, access, and alarm procedures. Maintain professionalism and positive communication with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping work preferred (training provided). Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and materials. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team. Understanding of WHMIS 2015 and safe work practices (training provided). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Assets

Experience working in commercial, institutional, or industrial facilities. Valid driver's licence (for mobile/floating positions). Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
