Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facilities. This position involves performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that all areas are kept in excellent condition.

Duties

Conduct routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces as needed. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations. Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels. Perform minor maintenance tasks as required to ensure the facilities are well-maintained. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Must have own vehicle as some jobs are after hours Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and visitors courteously.
