Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and fixtures to uphold health and safety standards Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs needed, and ensuring equipment is in good working order Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing Ensure all work areas are kept organized and free of hazards

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably in commercial settings Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and safety protocols Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work Good organizational skills to manage supplies and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions accurately Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving objects throughout the shift
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 18 per week
