Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, industrial, or residential cleaning and possess a strong attention to detail. Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, and polishing using appropriate equipment Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health standards Apply floor care techniques such as waxing and sealing to preserve surface integrity Assist with custodial maintenance tasks including window washing and light repairs Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and responsibly Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or safety hazards promptly

Experience

Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of floor care procedures including buffing and stripping is advantageous Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and techniques enhances job performance Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential Previous porter or maintenance experience can be beneficial for handling diverse cleaning tasks
This position requires reliability, a proactive attitude toward cleanliness standards, and the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in all aspects of their work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
