The Janitor reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible to provide a range of services that promote a positive appearance of the facility for both clients and staff. Working in conjunction with the rest of the team at Rock Bay Landing, the Janitor ensures that areas are clean and free of hazards.
Qualifications
Grade 12 plus one (1) year of recent related experience.
Requirements:
WHMIS Certification. Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.

.Job Type:
Full-time, temporary until the return of the incumbent or an internal employee is bumped into the role through the current Section 54 process in accordance with the collective agreement .In compliance with OHS and WorkSafe regulations, staff at this site will be supplied with and required to wear a half-mask respirator while performing task-specific duties.
Portability
Candidate upon hire may be eligible to transfer the hours worked with other Community Social Services Agencies under the Retention and Portability memorandum. Some restrictions may apply.
