Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable. Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company policies. Clean restrooms and replenish supplies as needed. Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as light repairs and facilities upkeep. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing janitorial duties.

Qualifications

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment. Experience in floor care, including buffing and maintenance of various floor types. Knowledge of residential painting is a plus but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
