We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a focus on commercial cleaning standards.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are clean, stocked, and sanitary at all times. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety regulations. Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed to uphold facility standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly. Assist with special cleaning projects as required or assigned by management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good physical stamina; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. A commitment to safety practices and procedures in the workplace.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
