Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable

Janitor/Cleaner

to maintain cleanliness and hygiene at commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are clean, organized, and presentable for employees, tenants, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and can work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Cleaning Tasks:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, lobbies, and common areas. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, windowsills, shelves, and fixtures. Empty trash cans and replace liners.

Restroom Maintenance:

Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, and mirrors. Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Kitchen/Breakroom Cleaning:

Wipe down countertops, tables, and appliances. Ensure dishes are cleaned, and garbage is removed.

Deep Cleaning Tasks:

Clean windows, blinds, and light fixtures as required. Shampoo carpets or wax floors as scheduled.

General Maintenance Duties:

Monitor and report any damage, repairs, or safety hazards to the supervisor. Replace light bulbs and perform minor fixes when needed.

Other Tasks:

Maintain janitorial supplies and restock when needed. Follow safety procedures and guidelines, including handling cleaning chemicals properly. Provide additional cleaning support for events or emergencies.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, but training can be provided.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Skills:

Attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Other Requirements:

Have your own vehicle.

Must have a valid driver's license (if required for travel). Ability to pass a background check.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
