Overview

We are seeking 1 part-time (weekdays, 11-3pm) dedicated and detail-oriented Janitors to join our team in the Courtenay/Comox area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in our clients' facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of the organization by providing high-quality cleaning services.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of various areas within the facility Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and available Conduct commercial cleaning tasks as required, including floor care and window washing Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train an ideal candidate Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Pay: $20.00 per hour
