Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive environment for employees and visitors alike. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain cleanliness of office spaces, hallways, and other facility areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed Conduct basic facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company policies Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment during cleaning activities Maintain cleaning schedules and document completed tasks for accountability

Experience

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols is advantageous Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Good organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
