Janitor

Janitor

, you will be ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while playing a crucial role in the creation and delivery of high-quality products.Join us on our Mission Possible journey at PNP to make meaningful change!

Shift



Monday to Friday (09:00 to 17:00)

Duties and Responsibilities



Perform frequent and ad hoc cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, wiping, dusting, windows, spot cleaning, and emptying & disposing of garbage &recyclables. Perform daily cleaning, sanitization, and regular upkeep of assigned area which can include, but is not restricted to: Production facilities:
- Open & closed offices, meeting rooms and reception areas;

- Kitchens, kitchenettes and pantry areas;

- Outdoor balconies and patio spaces;

- Laboratory rooms;

- Washrooms, locker rooms and gowning rooms;

- Warehouse areas;

- Common spaces including corridors and stairs;

- Utility and storage areas;

- Building exteriors including walls, windows and doors; and exterior areas including parking lots.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in assigned area. Update plant cleaning logs daily. Service, clean and supply all restrooms and sink areas. Maintain and clean kitchens in assigned area including sinks, countertops, appliances, floors, and fridges. Replenish gowning supplies including gloves, hair nets, masks, shoe covers and disposable coats. Replenish kitchen supplies including dish soap and paper towels. Prepare dirty laundry for pick-up, and process received clean laundry. Clean up spills and other hazards in a timely manner as needed. Maintain and organize janitorial inventory and equipment, and report when supplies are low or run out. Maintain an organized janitorial supply area. Keep all janitorial equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions and issues to supervisor. Assist in preparing, cleaning, and setting up chairs, tables, and other items for company events. Follow all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. Participate in and provide suggestions for the development and continuous improvement of all departmental processes Water and maintain indoor plants as needed. Provide coverage for other janitors in the Sanitation department as needed. Participate in and further the Company's health & safety program. Report equipment malfunctions immediately. Report quality deficiencies immediately. Offer suggestions for process improvement. Other related duties.

Qualifications



Fluent in verbal and written English. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Skills



Willingness to learn. Proficient in the basics of mathematics (adding and subtracting, multiplying & dividing). Excellent attention to detail. Good problem solving. Strong time management. Good verbal and written communication. Strong internal client service. Good influencing of both colleagues and leadership. Good in working with people and relationship building.

Abilities



Lift a minimum of 25kg. Work independently on assigned duties. Balance a variety of competing priorities while meeting deadlines.

Health



Must be in good health with no communicable diseases or dust allergies. Must wear approved non-slip safety shoes. Must follow appropriate gowning procedure before going into production area. Follow health & safety regulations.
