Your future duties and responsibilities:

On a typical day, you will:
Reporting to the Manager, Administration and Control, Pay Centre, the selected candidate will act as a data entry clerk. On a typical day, you will do the following:
- Manages payments of various remittances to governments and other agencies on time;
- Ensures accuracy and integrity of remittances through various validations;
- Makes required adjustments or corrections to agency payments;
- Balances and reconciles payments made;
- Acts as a point of contact with various organizations to negotiate client situations;
- Provides assistance to operational team members;
- Participates in account analysis;
- Participates in the implementation of new rebates or changes;
- Applies procedures and processes to maintain certifications on financial or operational controls (SOX, ISO, 3416);
- Continuously coordinates activities with the sales group and broader customer teams to ensure appropriate business strategies are in place for each customer;
- Actively contribute to the invoicing aspects of opportunities;
- Act as a partner with the client, building and fostering relationships with the company's key stakeholders and decision makers;
- Propose, manage and finalize the delivery of billing solutions involving different billing services;
- Work with internal teams to develop automation of billing solutions;
- Support the team in the resolution of billing disputes and help ensure their resolution;
- Good analytical skills with an understanding of basic principles of work and ability to work with large and complex datasets;
- Demonstrate initiative, leadership and passion for learning new skills;
- Develop business relationships with strategic clients to facilitate the resolution of billing and litigation requests;
- Ensure billing and credit policies are followed to mitigate financial risks.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Demonstrates rigor, thoroughness, autonomy and good priority management;
- Sense of analysis;
- Good communication skills;
- AEC in accounting or similar field
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar position;
- Fluency with Microsoft Excel and computer tools in general;
- Ability to work with others and develop expertise;
- Interest in continuous improvement and process improvement;
- Pay knowledge (an important asset);
- Excellent oral and written English and French skills (an asset).

Essential Skills and Competencies:
- We are looking for a candidate with 2 years of experience in billing with an ability to create operational impacts using a data-driven approach;
- Ability to communicate effectively (presentation and verbal and written communication) and influence stakeholders;
- Analytical and problem solving skills;
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables;
- "Change Agent" with a vision and delivery expertise that can challenge the status quo;
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint applications;
- Problem solving skills and skilled negotiator.
