Job Description

We are currently seeking an Investment Policy Administrator to join our Operations team. Working closely with our client, Investment Policy Administrators work specifically on the Assante Private Portfolios (APP) product. APP is a high advice, highly managed product with active asset mix maintenance. The IP Admin team is responsible for accurately administrating all clients' asset mixes and maintaining their Investment Policy portfolios.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Generate, validate, and implement IP asset mixes for clients on the Assante Private Portfolios platform
  • Perform compliance review on all investor profiles, ensuring investor direction corresponds to established business and compliance parameters
  • Link accounts to investment policy groups to ensure clients are invested accurately as per their risk profile and investment preferences
  • Utilize critical thinking to Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues relating to the IP asset mix
  • Handle escalated issues and ensure regular follow up and prompt resolution is achieved
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to Financial Advisors, Client Service, Compliance and other internal departments via phone and email
  • Review daily integrity reports and support team with quality control efforts

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience within financial services industry or related field
  • Knowledge of investment management philosophies
  • Knowledge of mutual funds, stocks, bonds, derivatives, GIC's etc.
  • Post-secondary degree
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong client service skills
  • Bilingualism in French and English would be a definite asset
