Job Summary

We are seeking a

native or near-native Italian Tutor

to teach students

online

. The ideal candidate is passionate about the Italian language and culture, and enjoys helping learners of all ages build fluency, confidence, and practical communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one online tutoring in Italian (conversation, grammar, writing, comprehension). Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and proficiency levels. Create a patient, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Communicate regularly with students and parents (if applicable) regarding progress and goals. Submit session reports after each lesson.

Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in Italian (required).

Experience teaching or tutoring Italian as a second language (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, professional, and adaptable teaching approach. Confident using online platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet. Bachelor's degree or higher in Languages, Education, or a related field is an asset. Experience supporting diverse learning needs (e.g., ELL, dyslexia) is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
