Intermediate IT Support Technician

Key Responsibilities:



Assist the Senior IT Technician in maintaining and improving on-site and cloud-based IT infrastructure. Provide Level 2 technical support to internal users (workstations, printers, software, networks). Support the Junior IT Support Technician with complex Level 3 cases. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues within established timelines. Install, configure, and update IT equipment, peripherals, software, and operating systems. Manage user accounts (creation, modification, deletion, permissions). Monitor network performance and report anomalies or service interruptions. Perform regular backups and assist with system restoration when required. Document technical interventions and maintain the internal knowledge base. Participate in IT projects and technology deployments under senior supervision. Maintain IT asset inventory and recommend improvements. Apply IT security policies and ensure workstation compliance. Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:



AEC or DEC diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience. 1 to 2 years of experience in technical support or a similar role. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365 user support. Intermediate knowledge of ITSM tools. Intermediate understanding of systems and networks (servers, VoIP, security). Intermediate hardware and software support skills (Windows 10/11). Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and French), written and spoken. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under partial supervision. Strong customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure. Motivation to learn and grow in a collaborative IT environment.
This role may, on occasion, require flexible or non-standard working hours.
