Job Summary
The IT Technician is accountable to the IT Manager, Service and Support Americas. The position is responsible for all activities relating to the operation and support of internal office systems, including copiers, phones, desktop / laptop computers, and mobile devices, including organizing new user hardware and software installations and upgrades. The IT Technician provides help desk support in accordance with the requirements outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to ensure success acting as first and second level of support/help desk for internal customers (employees)
Escalates issues internally and/or with external vendors when required to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in continuous improvement activities related to service delivery and the end user experience.

Providing service delivery that will create service wows.
As the desktop / mobility user experience expert take responsibility, at the manager's discretion, for the maintenance / troubleshooting, and configuration, as well as repairs / upgrades, of Computerized office systems (including phones, copiers, PCs) Mobile device management Client OS and apps
Accountable for monitoring IT supplies (i.e. computer hardware, accessories, printer/copier supplies) and requests / orders supplies as needed.
Independently prioritizes and executes work, using the Information Technology ticket system and IT master plan, and proactively tracks and reports on activities and projects.
Assists with maintenance activities for on premise servers and systems (at the manager's discretion).
Provides recommendations on the selection and implementation of new technologies.
Follows information privacy and security guidelines.
Demonstrates the Company Mission, Vision and Values Statements, policies, and current standard business practices.
Follows GMP and regulatory requirements, ensuring quality and data integrity standards are met.
Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations.
Performs other related duties and/or special projects as required in the department.

Qualifications
Education:
Degree or Diploma in a Computer Science, Network Engineering or Information Systems program or equivalent
CompTIA A+ certification and/or relevant Microsoft certification is an asset. (Windows 11, M365, Modern device management)
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role.
Pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic industry experience is an asset.
Demonstrated track record of providing great customer service.
