We're looking for an IT Technical Field Support Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping clients succeed.

What You'll Do:

Provide hands-on technical support for Windows and Apple environments. Manage Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure Cloud solutions. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on-site. Configure routers, administer Active Directory, GPOs, and DNS servers. Support mail protocols, printers, and backup solutions. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive end-user support for hardware, software, and network issues across Windows and Apple environments. Travel to client locations on short notice for on-site technical assistance and diagnostics. Prepare and deploy hardware (PCs, printers, peripherals). Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues on-site for Windows and MacOS. Configure and maintain WatchGuard & FortiGate routers. Manage Microsoft 365/O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure Cloud environments. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and DNS servers. Handle network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP) and mail protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3). Perform PC and Mac imaging and Intune configuration. Support backup and disaster recovery solutions (Datto, Veeam). Maintain cybersecurity best practices and multi-factor authentication. Be available for overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Diploma or certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field. CompTIA A+/Network+ or equivalent certification. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar intermediate technical support role. Hands-on experience with IT Service Management tools and remote desktop applications.
Competent Abilities to Work With:

Microsoft Technologies: Windows Server (2012-2022), Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP. Apple Technologies: MacOS troubleshooting, Apple Device Enrollment, iOS support, Apple Business Manager. Cloud & Collaboration: Microsoft 365/O365 (mandatory), SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra, Azure. Networking: TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing (BGP, OSPF), QoS, Wireless LAN, Printers. Protocols: Mail protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3), SSL, VPN. Security: Cybersecurity fundamentals, MFA, access control. Firewall Technologies - WatchGuard, Fortinet: VPN, SSL, EAPOL, crypto multi factors authentication, access control lists Backup & Monitoring: Datto, Veeam, RMM tools (ConnectWise PSA, IT Glue). End-User Support: Desktop troubleshooting, MS Office, virus removal, mobile devices.
Additional Information

Security Clearance: A current Police Security Clearance letter is required prior to employment. Work Location: Calgary, AB - This position is remote or hybrid Red Deer, AB - This is an on-site position
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
