As an IT SYSOPS Specialist, you will be responsible for the effective management and optimization of our organization\'s IT infrastructure and assets. You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of our systems while actively participating in the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role requires a deep understanding of various hardware and software systems, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Google Workspace Administration: Manage and optimize our organization\'s Google technology stack ensuring seamless collaboration, efficient operations, and secure cloud services.

Infrastructure Management: maintain and support the organization\'s hardware, audio-visual and network infrastructure to ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of the organization\'s IT infrastructure. Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to enhance system performance and security.

Deployment and Integration: Collaborate with development teams to deploy and integrate applications and services within Google Cloud, optimize performance, manage resource utilization and enforce security best practices

IT Asset Management: Manage the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with licensing agreements and organizational policies.

Incident Management: Respond to and manage critical incidents, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders as necessary, coordinate with vendors or third-party service providers to resolve complex technical problems.

Technical Support: Serve as one of points of contact for resolving technical issues escalated by end-users. Provide prompt and effective troubleshooting and problem resolution to minimize system downtime and ensure continuous workflow.

Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Collaborate with other teams to contribute to the knowledge base and create user-friendly guides and FAQs for end-users.

User Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance end-user knowledge and skills in using various software applications, tools, and systems. Conduct workshops or presentations on best practices and security awareness to promote a secure computing environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in Systems Operation & IT support, preferably in a large organization

Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems

Proficient in troubleshooting complex technical issues and identifying root causes

Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users

Leadership abilities and the aptitude to mentor and guide colleagues

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Experience managing macOS device management (130 macOS devices, 75 macOS users)

Experience managing Google Workspace (create users, groups, configure settings);

Experience in support and administration of macOS / Windows / Linux machines
