is seeking a skilled

IT Systems Administrator

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure across our five stores, ensuring optimal performance and security of our systems. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies and the ability to implement solutions that enhance system efficiency. The Systems Administrator will play a critical role in supporting our organization's technology needs along with maintaining system information and system training.

Duties

Manage and maintain server environments, including our in-store Windows based POS computer systems. Ensure system security through firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform system upgrades as needed. Maintain documentation related to system architecture, network configurations, and operational procedures. Give advise or training on POS system procedures. Create and maintain various system reports as required. Oversee inventory counts and the associated hardware. Help maintain store level information such as price batch changes, user levels and data inputting. Implement new software or devices as needed. Manage all computer hardware, wiring and related devices.

Skills

Proficient in system administration across various operating systems. Strong understanding of computer networking principles including DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure. Experience with maintaining system data using data importing and exporting into Excel. Experience conducting inventory counts and the hardware used. Expertise in information security practices to safeguard IT infrastructure. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on solutions that provide little to no downtime. Expertise in troubleshooting hardware issues and correcting them.
Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
