EDA's signature Earth Observation mission, the EarthDaily Constellation, is currently under construction. Once operational in 2026, the EarthDaily will be the most powerful global change detection and change monitoring system ever developed, capable of generating unprecedented predictive analytics and insights. The EarthDaily Constellation will combine with the EarthPipeline data processing system to provide unprecedented, scientific-grade data of the world every day, positioning EDA to meet the growing needs of diverse industries.

The IT Systems Administrator supports the day-to-day operation of the organization's IT environment by executing operational tasks across identity and access management, SaaS platforms, endpoints, and supporting infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role contributes to the reliability, security, and consistency of IT services used across the organization.
The IT environment is modern and cloud-first, with a strong reliance on SaaS products, identity-based access controls, and cloud-hosted infrastructure. This role requires comfort working in a contemporary IT and security model, strong communication skills, sound prioritization, and a professional approach to user support. Regular onsite presence during business hours is a core requirement, as the role balances responsive in-person support with IT project and infrastructure work throughout the year.
The role requires a high degree of self-direction, including the ability to identify issues, create tickets or project work proactively, and move initiatives forward without close supervision.
